“54” is the true story of the infamous Studio 54, a red-hot late night disco for the upper social echelon of New York City. The studio is operated by Steve Rubell (Mike Myers). When Steve, well known cocaine addict tells the IRS where they could go on national TV. The film centers on several characters, which lives all intertwine within the studio. From Shane O'Shea (Ryan Phillippe) who becomes the acclaimed ‘Shane 54’ a very popular bartender, Anita Randazzo (Salma Hayek) another bartender who is trying to get out of the decadent nature that Studio 54 embraces and Greg Randazzo (Breckin Meyer) who has been dipping into the trash bags of Steve’s earnings. Some are in desperate straits while others are ready to crash and burn.
